on a break

Today the computer at my office is working very sloooow!
I don't know why...
So,, while waiting it to load data,
I did some experiment... Um... more like trial actually...
I try the watercolour pad product from Faber-Castell...

I make it simple..
And the most simple thing I can do is to draw face..
and, this is what comes in mind this evening..

What do you think?
Honestly, me myself is a bit surprised with the result..
I LIKE IT!!
The colour and the effect is different with my watercolour pad at home..
The layer is soft... the character is rich..
well, I don't know how to describe...

But, try it yourself!
(I'm not trying to promote my company's product here though!:p )

blushing

So... Happy valentine's day everybody!!
And.... happy birthday for me and my twin...:)

Here's... a new artwork of mine..
Noo.... it's not about me and my twin brother..
It tells about, how shy they are when they meet each other...
and their cheeks blushing when they realized something might be happened between them..
there're sparks though they are not the same..
well, simply like gloria and melman on madagascar!
You can see how they should not belong to each other..
but however... that is how the love works... or maybe the cupid...
hahahaha...:D

You'll never know, who's the right guy or girl the God sent to you...
Could be somebody like you, or somebody you'll never had in mind instead..
whatever it is,, don't worry to fall in love!

Enjoy!;)

Happy Chinese New Year

Hey!! It's rabbit year already!!
So, I'd like to say, Happy Chinese New Year Everyone!
Gong Xi Fa Cai
(^____^)

----

Anyway,, here's the latest artwork made by me and Rizal Tri Susanto.
Mas Rizal (the way I call him), is an illustrator on PT. Faber-Castell International Indonesia.
He's awesomely good on his work.
The artwork above is made by him, but I'm the conceptor.
That is why I said it is made by us! hehehe...:D

So, the concept is about the fortune rabbit.
I completely blank at first.
Really don't know how to illustrate this 'fortune rabbit'.
All I can think about is how to combine, the Fu word and the image of the rabbit.
FYI, Fu means luck.

And... this is it! Enjoy!:)
